SPECIAL NEEDS FAMILIES: Gateway Academy Transition Fair 2027

Description

This annual transition fair brings companies and organizations that support students together with families. Representatives from colleges, independent living, vocational careers, along with additional companies and organizations supporting special needs families will be there with information and resources that provide meaningful guidance for families. The Handley Law Office has a table each year to give families information for all stages of planning including Estate Planning (Wills & Trusts) and Guardianship & Alternatives to Guardianship. At the table will be our 32-page comprehensive Special Needs Toolkit and the resource document from TEA & HHSC that helps families understand Waiver Programs.
